People hear that we have to be perfect and stop sinning and get very uncomfortable, some even angry. Many don't believe we can be perfect and when they hear one preach we must be perfect, they doubt and then ask if the preacher has stopped sinning. This is to find a justification since, most preachers preach that we all still sin, feeding them justifications for sins, this is why many can not handle the Truth. Those preachers are false prophets and liars. Now, people ask me if I still sin... Here is my testimony of Jesus Christ and the Life that is in Him, He speaks Life, we are to follow and obey, this is what I strive to keep while continuing to press forward to the goal and I encourage others to do the same.

If you have been raised in church, or been in church most of your life and you are still sinning/struggling, “church” as we call it has never lead you to KNOW Jesus and you are in great danger. Many know about Obama, many celebrate him, few actually know him... This is the same with most Christians, everyone knows “about” Jesus, celebrate and praise Him, but most do not obey Him and stop sinning. -If You Were Raised in Church... -Disciple of Jesus or a Cult? Many people say they have faith but really do not. If you are not obeying God then your faith that you claim to have is dead. Faith in God is hearing, believing and obeying God. Many have not understood this concept, they believe Faith is simply believing and trying your best. They believe that trying on their own strength or doing what they will after asking God is Faith in God. Worse many have not come to realize that FRUIT (Works of Righteousness) can only be produced by having FAITH in Jesus meaning we hear Him and obey. People are afraid of the word "works" and do not realize that our salvation is based on Jesus speaking, us listening and then OBEYING, doing what He says. This is what Abraham did...... More on this: Dead Faith Deception: Thinking You have Faith When You Don't The narrow door is OPEN NOW!!! We must enter His rest. When He returns all of those on the outside will be shut out forever. Those on the outside are those who continue in sin, they are those who have not overcome and still work iniquity. They are not following the Spirit. Enter the narrow door now, do not be a foolish virgin, do not be distracted with this world and the things in it, seek to Hear the voice of the Master and follow Him. When He arrives make sure you are found in Him. Just as the days of Noah, the door will be shut and the flood will come and wipe away the wicked. Some doors are shut before others through DEATH.... make sure you have entered the door, don't wait till tomorrow. More on this: The Narrow Door: You Must Enter Now A comment off of a status thread worth sharing:
"...If it was okay to keep sinning, why did Jesus even need to die? What Satan tried to do with his lie to Adam (Ye shall not surely die) was to nullify the punishment for the commandment of God. Satan's formulation of grace does the same thing. The current view of grace is not that God has effectively removed the problem, which is sin, but that God has removed the punishments of His law, thereby making sin non-deadly. That is essentially another way of saying "Ye shall not surely die". Any doctrine that in any way allows sin to remain while removing the penalty of sin is an extension of the first lie. Any attempt to remove the law or the punishment of the law is an extension of "Ye shall not surely die". God's law is good, and the punishments just. Jesus did not come to annul the law. He has established it as immovable for all time. Therefore having provided sufficient grace to remove the problem of sin, God has reinforced His law as just and holy. It is by removing sin that Jesus has removed from all men the excuse that they cannot help themselves and must sin. If even one man can live a life above sin, then all men are without excuse to avail themselves of what God has provided that gives victory and liberty from sin. Grace." -Bro Cope |
